There’s No Such Thing As Too Much Creamer
Just Too Many People Who Can’t Mind Their Own Damn Business
How much creamer should you put in your coffee?
One teaspoon? One splash?
Who the hell cares, really. If you get the itch to pour yourself a cup of Salted Caramel Chocolate Coffee-mate and add a dash of coffee to it, go for it. Life is short. Probably even shorter if you’re drinking creamer by the cup, but whatever! There’s definitely no reason to let some fancy coffee influencer or esoteric barista decide you shouldn’t enjoy yourself. In this messed up world, even your doctor needs to check him or herself before they speak on your coffee habits.
The only time it’s acceptable to dictate creamer usage is when it comes to specific recipes. For example, everybody knows you add 1.5 ounces of Irish cream liqueur to 1 cup of coffee to make a traditional Irish Cream Coffee!
Unless you use more. Or less. Coffee is really the ultimate dealer’s choice situation.
And don’t even get us started on people who “only drink black coffee.” They might as well wear a shirt that says “I am a professional asshole.” Sure, black coffee can taste good if you have just the right roast, but that roast isn’t going to be right for everybody.
For everyone else, there’s creamer. As much as we want!
